Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Renewal Radar handles information when you use myrenewalradar.com.
Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and account identifiers. Supabase handles password authentication. Your password is not shown to us in readable form.
We store the item names, categories, expiration dates, reminder timing, and optional notes you enter, along with your timezone and email reminder preference. Please avoid entering Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, passwords, medical details, or other sensitive information in item names or notes.
Our hosting and service providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, request times, authentication events, and error or delivery logs to operate and protect the service.
If you use billing, Stripe processes payment details. We store customer and subscription identifiers, subscription status, billing-period information, and your plan. We do not store full payment card numbers in Renewal Radar’s database. Current checkout is restricted to sandbox testing and does not charge real money.
How we use information
We use your information to authenticate your account, display and manage tracked items, calculate upcoming dates, send account and requested reminder emails, manage billing, provide support, and investigate abuse or technical problems.
Reminder emails include your item name and date. Consider what you want visible in your inbox. You can disable reminder emails in Settings; essential account emails, such as password recovery, are separate.
Service providers and sharing
We use Supabase for authentication and database storage, Vercel for hosting, Resend for email delivery, Stripe for billing, and Porkbun for our support mailbox. These providers process relevant information to deliver those services. Provider systems may process or store information outside your state or country.
We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising. We may disclose information when legally required, to protect the service or others, or as part of a business transfer, subject to applicable law.
Cookies and browser storage
We use necessary authentication cookies to keep you signed in and a temporary security cookie during password recovery. The demo stores example items in your browser, independently of account data. Clearing your browser storage removes that demo data. Stripe may use its own cookies on checkout and billing pages. We have not added advertising trackers or a separate analytics tracker to this version of the app.
Retention and your choices
We retain your account and tracked items while you use the service. You can edit or delete individual items and change reminder preferences in the app. To request an account deletion, a copy of your information, or another privacy-related correction, email hello@myrenewalradar.com from your account address. We may verify your identity before acting on a request.
Deleted information may remain temporarily in provider backups or logs. Billing, security, and support records may be retained when needed to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or protect the service. Availability of privacy rights depends on your location; we will handle applicable requests under the law.
Security and children
We use access controls intended to keep each account’s items separate and restrict server credentials. No online service can guarantee complete security. Use a unique password and protect access to your email account.
Renewal Radar is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it as appropriate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will update the effective date and provide notice of material changes when required.
